Michael Briggs, Professional Bio
Licensed since 1972, Michael has
performed in almost every possible position related to the residential real estate business in the
Washington, DC region.
Currently the Vice President of Professional Development in
for McEnearney Associates, he has listed and sold homes in Maryland and
Virginia, managed sales offices in Alexandria and Annandale, Virginia, and trained REALTORS® across the entire
United States in sales and marketing, law and ethics, and client-oriented business practices.
 Michael acts as CEO of the Briggs Realty Group,
overseeing the execution of its mission, acting as a senior resource for marketing and negotiating
strategies, and interceding on behalf of the teams' clients when special circumstances require it.
Michael's, Personal Bio
 A Washington DC native, Michael grew up
in the city. After his family moved to Bethesda in the mid-'50's, he graduated from B-CC High School and Miami University of
Oxford, Ohio.
 He has been a scratch golfer, both Junior and
Men's Champion of Columbia Country Club, and played in the 1962 USGA Amateur Championship in Pinehurst, NC. Michael regularly
travels to Scotland for golf outings and is a member of several Scottish golf clubs.
 Michael also
spent over 10 years as an active breeder of Arabian Horses at his farm in upper Montgomery County. He
has written extensively on Arabian bloodlines and breeding practices and served as President of the Mid-Atlantic
Arabian Horse Association.
 Michael and his wife, Sandy, currently
reside in Alexandria, Virginia, are active in their church and await the arrival, someday soon they hope, of a grandchild from their
daughter Erica and son-in-law Ed, who reside in nearby Springfield.
Sandy Briggs, Professional Bio
 Sandy is the heart and soul
of the Briggs Realty Group. She acts as President and lead Sales Associate for all of the teams' buyer and seller clients.
In spite of being licensed only since 1999, she has just qualified for the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®
Top Producer sales award, the Association's highest level of recognition.
 Sandy's early work included several years
as a flight attendant for United Air Lines and over 17 years teaching English and Film Study in Fairfax County, the last 10 years at
West Springfield High School.
 Sandy's experience rests in her superior
people skills and in her refusal to stop working until her client's needs are met.
Sandy's, Personal Bio
 Born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and raised in Manhattan and Darian,
Connecticut, Sandy's great love is spending as much time as she can in central and northern Maine, where she loves to swim, hike,
canoe and sometimes even fish.
 She is active at
her church and was recently elected to the Vestry Committee. She participates in many of the church outreach programs.
 Sandy is also a member of the Junior League of Washington.
She serves as an Alexandria Docent at Gadsby's Tavern in Old Town.
Anne Norberg, Personal Bio
 Anne's major
areas of responsibility with the Briggs Realty Group include: overseeing the office management,
processing listings and ratified sales agreements ensuring that all clients needs are met on a
timely basis, and working as a buyer's agent with new clients.
 Born in England,
Anne has been a US Army spouse for almost 20 years, receiving numerous awards for her service
to military personnel and their families at bases worldwide. She also is a former teacher, and
she currently has children attending Virginia Tech, The University of Virginia and West Potomac
High School. Anne has lived in the Mt. Vernon area for six years, is an active member of her
church community and also of the West Potomac Band Parents Association and the Crew Boosters.
